HomeAbout Us

The Staten Island Bicycling Association is a social bicycling Club. We welcome all riders.  Our Group Rides start at Miller Field at the New Dorp Ln. and Mill Rd. entrance (behind New Dorp High School).

Ride Dates and Start Times:

Saturday mornings 8:30 AM. The riders go out in groups based on riding abilities. If you are joining us for the first time we will help you find the group that’s right for you. We also have a bi-weekly Casual Ride for the novice or relaxed rider. You’ll learn how to ride safely in a group. You will also learn about bike pre-ride safety checks and simple bike maintenance, like flat tire repairs and minor adjustments. The Casual Ride schedule can be found on the website’s calendar. Note: All non-members, must sign a liability waiver prior to riding.

Sunday Rides: We have scheduled Rides that start at different off-island locations for our members. These rides are listed on our website calendar and have a Ride Leader, GPS guided routes and Queue Sheets.(GPS mapped routes and Queue Sheets are available for our members)

Other Rides:
Some of our members Mountain Bike. While we don’t have any club sponsored mountain bike rides, members do get together on their own for some Mountain biking action. Members also get together to attend (non-SIBA sponsored) event rides in our region.
